I felt like I was in the car all.freaking.day today. Not something I was particularly happy about after my fender bender yesterday, but it had to be done. I had a couple interviews, 1 in downtown D.C. and the other all the way up in Baltimore. It gave me a good excuse to wear my awesome blue blazer from The Limited though! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I get one of these jobs!!
Baltimore
Since I was driving around all day, I didn’t really get a chance to eat all of my meals. However, I did manage to keep the ones I did have pretty healthy.
Meal 1
1 cup unsweetened almond milk + 1 banana + 1 Tbsp natural peanut butter, blended together
Meal 2
6″ turkey sandwich on 9 grain honey oat bread from Subway
Meal 3
BFL protein pancakes + natural PB + sugar free syrup
Meal 4
1/2 cup cottage cheese + ~1 cup watermelon
Water
I didn’t drink much water because honestly, I didn’t want to have to pee while in the car or in my interviews. I got probably about 5 cups in total.
Workout
I was pretty wiped out by the time I got home from Baltimore and ended up crashing on the sofa for a couple hours. When I woke up at about 6:30, I was back and forth in my head on whether I wanted to lounge on the couch for the rest of the night and eat chocolate or go to the gym. I was leaning more towards the couch, but I figured I’d at least put my workout clothes on and see how I felt.
I kid you not, my turquoise workout pants are the best motivator. I put these on and I just feel like I wanna get out and do something active. So I went to the gym and busted out a great cardio + abs session.
